12 Volt 2 Pin Waterproof Connector
This waterproof 2 pin connector is ideal for providing 12v and switched ground from our Tesla Battery Module BMS controller through a weather proof enclosure. It mates with our IP67 waterproof 2-pin plug.
This high quality waterproof two wire/pin polarized connector can be mounted in a panel of any thickness. It has a vinyl opening cap, terminal boot and plug skirt to keep the connection splash proof.
Insulation
High quality insulated waterproof connector with thick tinned copper barrel, ensures strong secure crimping and provides minimal voltage drop and high current flow with less heat. This IP67 waterproof 2 pin connector is made from tough PBT and has a metal shell around the copper contact pins which are gold-plated to ensure a high quality, low resistance connection. It connects to the matching 2-pin socket using a quick-release, self-locking, sprung metal clip and a silicone gasket ensures a watertight connection. A cable gland at the rear of the plug provides a waterproof seal for round section, twin-core cables of 4 – 11mm diameter and the solder contacts inside the plug accept conductors up to 4mm2 in cross-section.
