3M Waterproof Wire Connectors

Scotchlok® Moisture Guard Connector MGC
Moisture-resistant connector that works well with thicker 14 AWG irrigation wire. Simple and easy to use, it removes a step from the connecting process due to 3M’s IDC technology. The clear body provides protection from the sun for above ground applications, while the mineral oil based grease inside safeguards against moisture. It is UL listed for landscape irrigation and lighting applications, CSA approved for signs, fixtures and luminaires, and RoHS 2011/65/EU compliant.

Scotchlok® Insulation Displacement Connector 314
3M Scotchlok insulation displacement connectors (IDCs) are easy to use and can help save time on the job because they don’t require stripping or twisting. They also provide a dependable electrical connection due to the unique “U” contact element. This 3M Scotchlok self-stripping, moisture resistant, pigtail electrical IDC is rated 600V for building wire and 1000V for signs, fixtures and luminaires, and withstands temperatures of up to 221 degrees F. It is filled with grease, flame retardant and resists moisture. Use with a 3M E-9BM crimping tool for installation.

Scotchlok® Direct Bury Splice Kits
Splice and effectively moisture seal underground electrical wires for m12 4 pin bulkhead connector direct bury. The DBY series kit provides everything you need to get the job done, from the 3M wire connector to the insulator tube and moisture resistant grease. No crimping tool is required, and the splice can be re-entry without cutting the conductor. Great for irrigation control systems and landscape lighting.
This premium moisture-resistant connector is ideal for splicing stripped copper wires intended for direct bury. It combines the performance of a 3M® Performance Plus Wire Connector Red/Yellow with the convenience of a high impact polypropylene tube pre-filled with moisture resistant grease.
The result is a quick, reliable connection that is UL-listed for 600V direct buried applications. If you’re looking for something simpler, consider a B connector (search on Google), which does the same job as an IDC connector, offers a similar mechanical and electrical connection, but has insulative goo instead of a clear housing.
