These water resistant electrical connectors are also available in different voltage ratings to accommodate various installations.

These two-part systems allow installers to first crimp the conductor, then test for conductivity prior to sealing with the waterproof plug. They are waterproof ethernet connector available in two crimp sizes to accommodate a wide range of wires from #18 to #10 AWG, and the waterproof plug can be installed with a standard set of slip joint pliers. The three holes in the connector housing tightly seal around wires (or will seal if no third wire is used) to provide continuous encapsulation and corrosion protection.

To use, simply shut off power, insert conductors through ports in base of body, align any frayed strands or conductors and twist together. Then, crimp sleeve with indent type crimping tool and trim excess bare wire. Insert plug into body and push down to snap in place.

Once the nut is applied, give each of the individual wires a tug to make sure they’re seated and won’t pull loose. If you do notice any that are coming loose, remove the nut and try again.
